Caterina Fake

Enamored with the possibilities of the internet as a social medium, Caterina has built, managed and participated in dozens of online communities and social software. She is the co-founder of Ludicorp, the creators of Flickr. Flickr was acquired by Yahoo in 2005.

Before founding Ludicorp, Caterina worked as Creative Director of Yellowball, an online collaborative storytelling space, originally developed at Interval Research and prior to that as Art Director at Salon. She has won numerous awards, including Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People in the World, Business Week's Best Leaders of 2005 and Fast Company's Fast 50.
